You will be a vital contributor to our inspiring and bold mission as National Sales Manager for Rare Disease & Oncology at Takeda Oceania. You will be responsible for leading and managing a motivated field force and contributing to franchise strategy development and implementation.
A typical day will involve:
Monitoring sales performance relative to budget/forecast and identifying key levers for action.
Analysing and interpreting market data/competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation.
Monitoring, evaluating and acting on field force metrics and standards to maximise sales force effectiveness.
Achieving sales and market share targets within approved budgets.
Contributing to sales incentive and cycle planning, in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Contributing to the development and execution of sales and marketing plans and ensuring strategic alignment between cross-functional partners.
Driving field team excellence in customer interactions through active development, coaching and feedback.
Actively managing direct reports, encompassing objective setting; performance review and management, capability and skill development; resource allocation and succession planning.
Ensuring field force compliance with all relevant internal and external compliance requirements.
Education & Experience:
At least 5 years of standard-setting performance in a sales management (or comparable) role.
A high-level of experience in coaching and mentoring others.
Experience and knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and products.
Experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical macro-environment, including external customers including patients, prescribers, payers and providers.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge / experience is preferred.
Business knowledge, MBA preferred.
