As a Sales Representative you will be responsible to maintain and develop sales within the Johannesburg, Gauteng territory. You will be responsible for products in the Vascular products and division.
Other Key Responsibilities:-
Achieve business plan by implementing and changing strategies per customer as needed
Maintain and grow current business by establishing excellent relationships with and support to customers
Identify and develop new business in the territory
Be available for theatre support, if needed, also after hours
Build relationships with clients including hospital personnel, theatre staff, pharmacy manager, stock controllers etc
Assist when and where required at organized exhibitions and meetings to promote BDI products through demonstrating the clinical features and benefits of product ranges
Conduct in service training and product demonstrations to promote the correct use of BDI products in territory
Provide competitive information such as tenders, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish pricing structures for assigned products.
Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
Manages consignment stock to minimize risk
Submission of planners and reports as requested by Sales Manager / Sales Director
Contribute to the positive integrity of the team at all times.
About You:-
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor degree or a 3-year diploma in Medical / Science or any related field
Experience: 0-1 year of experience in sales in the healthcare sector
Understanding the Clinical / Theatre background and key concepts of Peripheral Vascular would be an advantage
Be available extensive working hours and on weekends for customer theatre support
Strong commercial acumen combined with the commitment and focus to deliver against targets
Exceptional team and development skills
