This role will be responsible for supporting and executing the sales strategy to optimize the relationship with, and achieve maximum results from Singapore. This role has an emphasis on technical selling and relationship building. Assessing and reporting sales forecasts accurately is one of the key tasks. Ability to work across multi-functional groups will be essential to the success of this role.
•Achieve sales target for the territory
•Execute sales strategies to grow the business
•Increase market share in assigned territories
•Actively exploring new market opportunities to increase revenue
•Conduct sales calls, sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers, doctors and nurses
•Maintain excellent relationship with existing and new customers
Education / Experience Requirements
•Tertiary level education preferred
•Candidates with sales experience in medical devices / pharmaceutical industry will have an added advantage
•Minimum 3-5 year of sales experience preferred
•Independent and highly self-motivated and result driven
•Possess class 3 driving license and own vehicle preferred
•A demonstrated track record for meeting sales objectives in a Medical Consumable company; year over year results.
•Strong capability to open New accounts and service customers.
•Proven ability to “system” and “circular” sell within accounts i.e., handholding order opportunity through depth and breadth of customer stakeholders.
•A good understanding of the medical consumable industry, and, in particular, Surgical, Urology and Emergency
•Ability to communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of people having varying backgrounds, education and experience.
•Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project, etc.
•Demonstrated functional experience in areas such as strategic selling, Key Account Management.
•A high-energy self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, lean, entrepreneurial environment and will “roll up his/her sleeves” to get the job done.
•A team player that treats individuals with dignity and respect.
•An independent individual who goes the extra mile to ensure proper communication and reporting.
•Knowledge of CRM is preferred
•A creative person with a proactive attitude, motivated to set aggressive goals and be measured against them.
•A person comfortable working in an environment of change and continuing organizational evolution.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Nursing is preferred.
•Minimum 1 year of Sales experience with a leading medical consumable company.
•Sales experience in Singapore market is a MUST.
•Knowledge in disposable or consumable market will be advantageous.
