We are strengthening our Structural Heart leadership by recruiting for an experienced National Sales Manager for our transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) business across UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for sales revenue within the geographic boundaries of the region and lead and develop a team of TAVI Territory Managers and Therapy Specialists, including all HR related activities.
What you’ll do
- Understand the dynamics of assigned market relevant to product, the healthcare and economic environment to identify opportunities to grow market share
- Strategic/Operating Plan Process/Organizational Assessment – using LBE plan and local marketing strategy to develop sales plans that foster growth
- Business forecasting and reporting – making use of relevant information to enable sound judgments about likely business changes, opportunities and threats. Conducts ‘ground up’ assessment to input into LBE
- Sales process effectiveness – assist with the development of local strategic plans and sales tactics, create account plans and document objectives
- Contribute to building and leading a high-performance organization to deliver plans by assisting the Division Manager in selecting, training, coaching and developing people
- Communicate the sales vision, strategy and objectives appropriately, encouraging collaboration and teamwork appropriately to contribute to the achievement of overall business targets
- Encourages coaching both within the team and personally, and responds productively to feedback from the Division Manager, role models Company policies and practices
- Develop high level customer engagement with KOLs, reference centres, procurement and trust/hospital management
What you’ll need
- Educated to degree level is preferred
- Prior sales and sales leadership experience in devices industry, preferably cardiovascular
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills and results driven
- To be a decision maker and problem solver, effective with change management and with an adaptable leadership style
