Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager develops a business plan with his/her team, sells and promotes the Diatherix Eurofins product line to meet territory sales goals for assigned region, and identifies and assists in the development of new client opportunities. They are also responsible for prioritizing project planning, team meetings, overall territory management, and growth of their assigned region, as well as the success and coaching of their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Train, develop, and lead a team of Territory Managers
- Evaluate and identify improvement and development opportunities of Territory Managers through a performance management process
- Conduct field travel quarterly with each Territory Manager calling on multi- specialty clients and prospects with multi-state responsibility.
- Assess Territory Manager’s skills and coach for improvement
- Identify and acknowledge individual strengths and needs within assigned district
- Develops and executes a territory business plan; sells and promotes the services at Diatherix to meet territory sales goals for assigned region; identifies and develops new client opportunities; responsible for prioritizing project planning, meeting competing customer requests/deadlines, and organized territory management
- Plan and conduct effective sales meetings
- Ability to interview and hire potential candidates, produce and implement Performance Improvement Plans as well as terminate employment of team members when necessary.
- Direct and monitor the execution of approved marketing plans and promotion campaigns
- Analyze sales reports and develop Plans of Action
- Takes ownership of personal development and continuous learning; attends required sales training, seminars, and tradeshows
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record and maintain a clean driving record
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required. Prefer a degree in the biological sciences i.e. Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology. Will consider candidates without a scientific degree if they have a proven track record in a bio-technology selling environment.
- 2+ years of management experience or leadership/training roles.
- Experience selling in the laboratory market/hospital market/physician’s office market
- Must have knowledge of government compliance, as it pertains to Diatherix services. i.e. Medicare and Medicaid
- Knowledge of insurance systems and methods of reimbursement is preferred

Pay Rate: Please post $135k/Yr. plus commission
