UnitedHealth buys PacifiCare Insurance group

UnitedHealth is to go ahead with the purchase of PacifiCare Health Systems for $2.2 billion plus 111.6 million shares. The deal means PacifiCare shareholders will receive $21.50 cash and 1.10 UnitedHealth shares for each share held.
